3form Ditto modules

Who didn’t love playing with Legos and Construx as a kid? Now that we’ve grown up, 3form has made the adult equivalent: Ditto, a modular cross-shaped product that forms together to create partitions, sculptural center pieces and wall art. Made from 40 percent pre-consumer recycled materials, the modules come in a variety of colors and can be used to create endless organic structural designs.

The modules are made from a material called Varia Ecoresin, which is a mesh of color, organic materials, sheer fabric, and resin, embossed with texture. Like Ikea furniture, the 3form kit comes with all the necessary hardware — simply snap the modules together and let your imagination go wild!

Want to make tunnel in the hallway of your new bar? No problem – no need to call the contractor. How about a flashy hanging room divider for your new studio apartment? Simple – and you can create patterns within the designs you come up with. Why not wrap that ugly column in the middle of your office with a hand-crafted pattern?

The possibilities are endless, and any design can be easily changed — pieces can be added to or subtracted from, moved and reconfigured at any time. We can see this being a big hit in hip start-up businesses with small budgets for art and décor.
