Witty imagery for Bulldog’s 20th anniversary

July 26th, 2011 by retail design blog

Bulldog design company released a funny T-shirt dor their 20th anniversary:
“Over the years, our company has been very comfortable with presenting a witty face to the world – from our choice of name to the imagery that people associate with Bulldog.”
We developed this visual pun to commemorate our 20th anniversary on February 10th, 2010. The piece fuses a crossword puzzle with our logo to create a playful visual short-hand for what Bulldog has done over the last 20 years.”

“The starting place for this solution was a concise thank you message from a happy client – the crossword puzzle graphic just seemed to manifest itself. Finding branding related terms to fit in the spaces was rather more challenging. Bulldog’s clients received commemorative posters and limited edition T-shirts, packaged in labelled, PVC containers. A lavishly printed compendium using this imagery, will also be sent out in a few weeks.”
