Morgenstelle Cafeteria Tübingen University communication by büro uebele

August 11th, 2011 by retail design blog

“Now and then but nonetheless”: the words of the philosopher Hannes Böhringer accompany the students at Tübingen University – not while they are studying but while they are eating. Large and luminous words hang suspended from the ceiling in the cafeteria where the food is served. The sequence of words and their possible meaning are supposed to add an element of interest during the students’ stay in the functional room. Light sequences of different colours create an ever-changing atmosphere and constantly redefine the sensory experience of the room so that its functionality fades into the background.
