Space Time lamp by Karim Rashid for Zero

September 14th, 2011 by retail design blog

At the 2011 Stockholm Furniture fair, New York-based designer Karim Rashid will present his new ‘Space Time’ lamp developed for swedish lighting manufacturer Zero. The organically shaped pendant lamp appears with large perforations, making the surface area of the shade minimal. A cone-shaped extrusion extends from the base ring of the light upwards towards and connecting to the wiring, hiding the lighting element and making the overall form of the lamp more seamless.
