Milwaukee/Chicago-based designer, Rocco Laudizio of Slick+Design USA, and real estate/nightclub-restaurateur, Thomas Wackman, hook Milwaukee’s attention with new vanguard concept. A smart, enticing bend to fare and cocktails, Dick’s Pizza & Pleasure pushes artisan style pizza, house made milkshakes and nightlife a step far beyond.

DICK’S PIZZA. Enter the diner-inspired first floor to cantilevered Carrara marble table tops opposite a 30’ full service Carrara marble bar with proper diner-influenced metallic red vinyl, chrome based, barstools and chairs. The white high gloss wood bar consists of an array of specially designed shapes, some illuminated with LCD TV’s and others filled with red LED lighting. The anime wall murals captivate just the right amount of color against the white high gloss Cream City brick and are perfectly partnered with diner appropriate subway tile walls and hexagon tile floors.

The open kitchen area seduces diners with a view of the coal fired oven through oversized 4’ round windows. All brought together by the sounds of nu-disco, urban funk and glam rock priming the experience that awaits upon the second and third floors.

DICK’S PLEASURE. Follow the hanging bulb lit sign up the sleek stairway to the second level and the dreamlike trip begins. Illuminated with indirect cove, color-changing, LED lighting, the white walls and surreal white surgical floors, mixed with the global sounds, transform this simple concept into an unprecedented, obscure nightlife experience. With provocative anime and DJ booth positioned between two full bars, the aura is set for the standing only second level.

The VIP section is intimate, elevated on its own platform, furnished with circular custom white high gloss tables and hand crafted white gloss vinyl sofas. Having an open ceiling, the view to the third level finishes exclusive VIP expectations. While ascending to the third level, the vibrant colors accented by indirect cove, color-changing, LED lighting illuminates the vibe. Glimpses of a bold, electric raspberry bar and grape colored VIP seating, surround a one-of-a-kind shot bar. This eccentric, high gloss Acme Pink custom shot bar features a 10’ high gloss Acme Pink metal Birch tree that is accompanied by futuristic ceiling-suspended gleaming white monitors.
