Faberge Salon by Jaime Hayon, Geneva – Switzerland

December 20th, 2011 by retail design blog

Jaime Hayon has designed the excellence of the Faberge Geneva store giving it a whole new face lift. The achievement is bringing the glamour into the 21st Century mod aristocracy. The boutique expresses a world of luxury, importance and elegance as originally but through a design language that is more approachable, lightly enjoyable, and bright and unbelievably etiquette.

There is a great presence of intimidation as you are approaching the full height interconnecting doors with the tinted glass of cut out gem-shaped panels. That is exactly how you should feel as an outsider giving you the understanding that the merchandise beyond these doors is for a very specific upper class clientele. Through this gem panel pattern Jaime Hayon has successfully retained the natural day light coming through the interior and glorifying it.
