KENN Brutal shelf system by Kenyon Yeh for Seletti

February 2nd, 2012 by retail design blog

This unique shelf system in each individual shelf has uncertain quadrilateral shape; the cutting technique is very unique along with the way to connect all the pieces into one bigger scale piece that is a brutal process. Each shelf have multiple roles, accommodates items such as books, magazines, artefacts, picture frame, etc. Only the way to fit in is different, items maybe not always in horizontal but in angled landscape, bring the challenge to arrange them.

That’s make Kenn Brutal unique and original as this will reinforce the impression of nature décor in the house.
The important element incorporated into a design is an aged minute English chair leg recomposed to hold the whole structure, emphasize the new contemporary with old element within.

Kenn Brutal offers one drawer system at the bottom part and one storage system at the top part, these drawer and storage can be fitted in both ways, meaning of can be installed in two sides depends on the taste how to place Kenn Brutal.

Material: white destructured walnut shelf with natural feet. Dimensions: W.122 cm – D.40 cm – H.180 cm.
