Historic Swiss watch manufacturer Bucherer has opened a new store in St.Moritz to reflect its brand’s aesthetic overhaul. Seeking to convey a modern design while not overriding its traditional glam-factor, Bucherer commissioned Stuttgart-based Blocher Blocher Partners to realize the new shop.

The interior boasts a sophisticated aesthetic, thanks to an ‘atmospheric spatial composition and combination of the finest materials.’ ‘Spatial effect and perception, materiality and proportions intermingle playfully,’ say representatives of Blocher Blocher Partners. Spanning 150-sq-m, the space combines cool materials – like stone and bronze accents – with natural finishes, as seen in expansive leather-covered walls.
