Sleeve lamp by INSIDE

February 20th, 2012 by retail design blog

An organic-shaped item which seems to come alive, composed of a tubular lampshade of a particularly technical fabric that makes it flexible and adjustable, orienting the light’s direction through its shape. Sleeve is a plastic item, and reaches its utmost expression in dynamic and sculptural combination of various elements. … for creative flashes of light to focus on objects and details.

The use of an innovative material even at high temperatures is enhanced by precise tailoring: the cuts of the fabric are hand-sewed together with a refined external stitch in white thread, protected internally by cord appliqués. Available in two models in black graphite, pure white or pearl-grey.
