Wooden Bulb by Barend Hemmes

February 25th, 2012 by retail design blog

It’s a bulb… but not as you know it. This clever lamp is shaped like a giant lightbulb and houses a… lightbulb. Designed by Suck UK friend Barend Hemmes, it’s made from laser cut wood, which leaves a crisp burned edge and creates a satisfying, waffle-like glow. Either hung from the ceiling or laid on its side, the Wooden Bulb will add a little tongue-in-cheek humour – as well as light – to any room.
