Burberry store, Amsterdam

March 14th, 2012 by retail design blog

Plaid on a mission. We’re talking Burberry’s Stellar second boutique on the dutch capital’s coveted luxury shopping strip. Occupying two recently merged retail spaces, the store measures a rather grand 600 sqm. spread over three whole floors. Similar to other Burberry outlets, the interior has been designed by the brand’s frontman Christopher Bailey, and features british materials and themes, such as dark oak, trench lacquer and polished black chrome.

Knowing how to create total brand immersion in the digital age, a hi-tech Burberry Retail Theatre concept has been installed to enable broadcasting multimedia content directly from the global headquarters in London to giant 3×3 in-store video walls. The new store carries Burberry’s women’s collections of its Burberry Prorsum, Burberry London, Burberry Brit, and Burberry Accessories lines, in addition to the Burberry Kids collection. The exisiting store across the street will now exclusively feature the same lines for men.
