Sheet metal have the same characteristics as paper when it comes to folding. After a lot of experimenting with paper and watching many origami instruction films I managed to understand the technique and construct a pattern of my own. A lampshade that reflects the light downwards with a light coloured by the golden brass.

An impressive geometric installation hangs from the ceiling of the main dining room at Namus Boutique, a restaurant in Seongnam, South Korea. Made of steel and acrylic resin, the sculptural object – its stylized form resembling an upside-down metropolis – doubles as a lamp.
There is lots of beauty in materials. We as a consuming species are creating an enormous amount of waste in all types of production processes. ‘Bits of Wood’ is a reaction on handling these leftovers. Pieces of wood in this case; leftovers from the sawmill. All the different pieces are modified to fit in a mold where molten tin embraces them and holds them together.
For a concept store on Fifth Ave, New York, showcasing Gap clothing and Keds sneakers, we were asked to further develop our Keds showroom walls and concept as a backdrop for the product.
