Fresh restaurant by Sundukovy Sisters, Moscow

August 23rd, 2012 by retail design blog

‘Fresh’ Restaurant is located at Tverskaya str., an upscale shopping area of Moscow. It’s helmed by Ruth Tal, a Canadian entrepreneur who started her business in Toronto in the early 1990s with a mobile juice bar. Tal’s activities later evolved into a restaurant business, at a time when the vegetarian food available wasn’t something you’d really enjoy. This ‘Fresh’ restaurant is her fourth establishment, and the first one overseas. The restaurant interior is playful and inviting, and incorporates much of the company’s green principles.

It is designed by Sundukovy Sisters, a Moscow-based designed practice led by Olga and Irina Sundukovy. The duo created a layered contemporary ambiance in which an abundance of natural materials are offset by exposed brik walls and sleek industrial elements. ‘Fresh’ is a place where to indulge in a wide range of tasty drinks and bites, all freshly made.
