Van Cleef & Arpels Maison flagship by Pure Creative International, Hong Kong

August 30th, 2012 by retail design blog

A collaborative work with Pure Creative International completed in June 2011, Van Cleef & Arpels’ first Asian Maison in Hong Kong’s Prince’s Building is a study in ornamental design. The hand blown and crafted Murano glass tubes stream down the façade, creating the illusion of drops of gold, and is dramatically carried through to the interior of the boutique with the Murano glass chandelier.

The Maison is a warm and inviting luxury retail space, finished with wood panelling and a chromatic harmony of soft hues, leather features and floral themes give a luxurious finish, bathed with subtle lighting effects.

  1. Marianne says:

The light feature is absolute stunning, but I really hate how the bottom of the staircase looks like it’s been plonked there – there’s a gap on the right hand side that looks really odd.

  2. The Murano chandelier is gorgeous!
