Oxfam store by Retail Office, Leuven – Belgium

August 31st, 2012 by retail design blog

Oxfam is the worldwide pioneer in fairtrade. With the sale of fairtrade products, they offer consumers a concrete alternative. The unique story of every fairtrade product and their origin are the basis for the new store concept. Retail Office used these unique stories to create a unique shopping experience. Tv-screens tell the story of coffee producers in Congo and touchscreens assist the client in choosing the ideal coffee or wine.

Sustainability was paramount in the choice of materials. Low cost design options and a clear store layout provided a significant additional sales and profits. So fair, so good.
