Play Pot restaurant by Lim Tae Hee Design Studio, Seoul

With the idea to break the barrier between interior and exterior space, designer Lim Taehee injected stereotypes of a typical street vendor into an interior space. Metaphorical road signs are used throughout, while potted flowers and industrial surfaces further enhance the ‘outdoor’ feeling.

The new Design Collective is located in the outskirt of Shanghai in a town called Qingpu. Neri&Hu inherited an existing building and was given the task to completely redesign both the exterior and the interior without demolishing the existing structure.
