Pesaro flagship store by Arboit, China & Taiwan

October 1st, 2012 by retail design blog

Pesaro is a fashion brand characterized by a “couture” style. Since the collection is already rich and colorful a neutral space with a modern and sophisticated atmosphere is needed. On the other side the glamorous spirit of the brand has to be emphasized through the concept of the “diamond ‘wall”: a tridimensional texture made of ceramic tiles to cover the main architectural surfaces of the shop.

The project is a balance of opposite vibes: by one side the “black area” of the shop defined by sleek and minimalist display design, black carpet and square shapes, on the other side the “white area” defined by Italian marble and a sculptural wall made of ceramic tiles shaped as diamonds.

This work is a branding project. The flagship store is the design blue print for many concept stores opening across China and Taiwan. In every store the design is repeated although the diamond pattern design might actually change in case a few stores are located in the same city or region.
