Create three different but compatible shopping experiences for Men, Women and Lauren footwear within one showroom with a shared reception area’, that was the directive. The overarching spatial organization, scale and rhythm successfully achieved this goal. The design includes prominent and repetitive elements such as ceiling moldings within the vocabulary of each specific brand. The design team in partnership with the Polo Creative Team carefully selected materials and accessories to differentiate the brands while maintaining the continuity of the world of Ralph Lauren.
“Ralph Lauren has always stood for ‘quality products while creating worlds that invite people to take part in the dream.” The Mens Showroom on Madison Avenue features rich mahogany paneling, finely detailed cabinetry, custom moldings and vintage photographs that adhere to the timeless style of Ralph Lauren.
