ONLY store by Riis Retail, Oldenburg – Germany

October 26th, 2012 by retail design blog

Size matters in the world of ONLY, and their new shop concept design by Riis Retail has dominant and impressive shop fronts. During the day, tall doors framed with running lights make a powerful entrance. During the night, the semitransparent doors allow passengers a peek into the illuminated universe of ONLY.

Designed by Riis Retail and executed in joint efforts between the design team and the client, the project sets new standards for combining interior design, functionality and visual merchandising.

The open façade reveals an impressive impact zone with the freshest and most fashionable styles. The twisted use of huge LED screens ensures great brand recognition throughout the entire shop.

Homogenious surfaces and clear lines mixed with playful elements give the shop a young and twisted look.

Keywords like ‘light’ and ‘bright’ have been consistent throughout the entire process. The shop is illuminated with a highly professional knowledge of lights.

The mirrored walls inside the hexagon shaped fitting rooms give the customer a 360 degree view – an unexpected ‘WAU’ effect.

Exclusive and friendly materials welcome the customer in the fitting room area.

The furniture is highly detailed and gives an exclusive feeling.
