LANDesk Software, the industry’s leading provider of IT end user management, appointed Area Sq for the design and fit-out of their new 15,000 sq ft office in Bracknell, Berkshire. LANDesk Software relocated from Chertsey where they had outgrown their office space and took this opportunity to create a dynamic client-facing space as well as an inspiring workplace. Area Sq presented a series of designs and space plans to gain feedback from the client and left visuals on display in the office to ensure effective communication with staff throughout the process.

Area Sq has created a central hub connecting the front of house and sales area on the ground floor to enable staff to interact; this includes a breakout and touchdown points and is linked to the large outside terrace by full height windows. The ground floor facilities also include an open plan break out space, a demo room and a meeting and training suite.

Dan Callegari, Senior Designer at Area Sq says: “The appropriate ‘tone of voice’ for the reception suite was achieved through the use of Landesk Software colour palette combined with more traditional walnut tones. A range of complimentary textures and curved glass were used to promote the desired fluidity of the space. Finally we mimicked the paths of the floor and ceiling features to reinforce the theme of connectivity and added depth.“

Dave Gaddis, Director of Operations at LANDesk Software says: “Wow! The office is even more impressive in person than the renderings portrayed. This has been a great project and I appreciate the hard work and dedication Area Sq has put into making it a success. The finished product is fantastic!”
