The restaurant in the newly strikingly renovated Amsterdam Rijksmuseum (the Nightwatch, Rembrandt) respectfully honours the colours and materials of this most important Dutch landmark. The dramatic atrium forms a unique backdrop for the minmalistic shapes and carefully chosen furniture by dutch masterdesigners (Wim and Gerrit Rietveld, Martin Visser, Friso Kramer, Kho Liang Ie) that, just like the presented art icons, have proven to hold a timeless quality of international allure.

The close-to-nothing interior design, powerful in all it’s simplcity, welcomes the people from around the world, giving them a comfortable place to reflect on the overwhelming art while having a taste of the high cuisine of the low lands.
