Joe & the Juice by Riis Retail, Aarhus – Denmark

May 4th, 2013 by retail design blog

Riis Retail created this spectacular concept with a great atmosphere and mood.As a pivotal point for the experience, the Juicers provide the customer with a show – making the product. Visiting JOE & THE JUICE is like being at a theater. The stage is at the heart of the concept and draws the costumer in – like an actor in the show. To further enhance the feeling of a cozy mood, ambient coloured light is used as a backdrop on the walls. Being at ease and part of the events, in authentic, contemporary surroundings is what creates and keeps a devoted customer base.

DESIGN
Simplicity, with a twist. Maintaining a conscious balance between the raw and the refined is vital to the brand statement – both in the choice of materials as well as in the uncompromising overall concept. Authenticity and quality is communicated all the way into the smallest detail because it is directly transferrable to how the product is conceived.

FUNCTIONALITY
In order to optimize the retail space, both the area behind the counter and the different customer zones throughout the store receives full attention. To the Juicers, a well adjusted and efficient work space allows them to keep their focus on serving the customers. To the customers, accommodating their various needs on the time they can spend in the store – different seating zones allows for a more convenient stay.

Dear Mr, Mrs, Can I buy the picture of the wallpaper hanging at Joe & the Juice – the bookshelf or cupboard – over the whole wall ? Or where can I find this image ? I would like to use it for private purposes.

Wkr and thank you for your reply,

    Natalie

I too am interested in purchasing the (unbranded version of) library wallpaper for Joe & the Juice, or license the image for personal use in my home office. I saw it in several of the stores in København & London, and have fallen in love for my home remodel project. It’s gorgeous & so perfect for our space- I have to have it please! There’s nothing else on the market like it right now & could be a great additional source of branded revenue for Joe!

I am desperate to get hold of the wallpaper (bookshelf) under the dado rail at Joe & The Juice at Cannon Street. Can I commission a similar stretch of this paper? I have been looking for something like this for about 5 years!
