Bread & Butter Berlin 2013 Winter – Roy Roger’s Rugged

May 15th, 2013 by retail design blog

Roy Roger’s is crafted in Tuscany by Manifatture 7 Bell SpA, the first Italian blue jeans manufacturer. Rugged is the FW 13/14 vintage line of Roy Roger’s inspired by the American college world of the 50’s.?? Definitely a vintage theme that focuses on the recovery of the past, most of all the 50’s. The line includes Shetland sweaters, English wool jackets by Moon, striped Oxford shirts and cotton socks with the colors of football teams of the American colleges.

Starting from the “Preppy” look from the Ivy Leagues all the way back to the 50’s school boy style, revisited in a modern and original collection, offering a taste of the past. Roy Roger’s introduces also “Tuscan Wool by Roy Roger’s”, the capsule FW 13/14 collection inspired by Tuscany and Hunting. It is created using the wool of the Monte Amiata sheeps. The company follows every step of the production, from shearing to the finished garment, resulting in a durable, 100% pure Tuscan Wool. The look is vaguely vintage and authentic thanks to the natural impurities and colors belonging to the Tuscan territory namely blue, brown, sand and sienna.?? Blazers, jackets and vests with horn buttons and very high thermal properties.
