Vapeur motif lamps by Inga Sempé for Moustache

May 31st, 2013 by retail design blog

Along with her ‘W103s series’ of lighting for Wästberg, French designer Inga Sempé presents her Vapeur motif lamps for Moustache during Milan Design Week 2013. Using the mechanical and structural qualities of pleats to create strange and large self-supporting volumes, the wrinkled Tyvek® bodies filter light to create soft illuminations. Conceived in two different sizes, the hanging modules also implement various printed patterns to complement the corrugated iron base colorway.
