The turning and sanding of wood, produces an enormous amount of waste material which nobody uses further. This material wastage of such a natural and valuable material like wood draw our attention to solve this problem.

This project is a result of a material mixture of pure natural ressources. The sawdust which is produced comes in the next step as an additive in use again. Through this mixture we produce an extraordinary light but still very strong concrete slab that is 40% lighter than normal concrete.

With Line Up we created a product that doesn‘t produce waste material during production because of the reusing of that material in the next steps during the process. At the end we have a nice combination that connects the two materials optically as well as technically.
