Lsx20 multimedia exhibition by H2E, Riga – Latvia

June 13th, 2013 by retail design blog

Commissioned by the Bank of Latvia, design studio H2E developed a multimedia exhibition devoted to the 20th anniversary of the reintroduction of the country’s national currency. For ‘Lsx20. Art Years of the National Currency’ in Riga, Latvia, H2E displayed currency designs and highlighted the artists responsible for the works. The aim was to emphasize the creativity involved in such projects. The designers used the idea of a pencil – with its lead or graphite core – as inspiration for the layout; the arrangement of the display elements mirrors the crystalline hexagonal grid of carbon.
