Moncler flagship store by Gilles & Boissier, Milan

July 2nd, 2013 by retail design blog

Last week Moncler added a flagship store in its hometown of Milan. Located in the swanky Duomo area, the store measures 240 sqm. [2,583 sq.ft.] spread over two floors, and boasts an interior that totally captures the neighbourhood’s prestige with a new design by Paris-based practice Gilles & Boissier. It features slabs of polished grey carnian stone, paired with smoky wood flooring. however, it’s the wood panelling and ceiling beams that are the key elements of the new concept.

Windows and display cases made in extra-clear glass and patina-finish black metal. The new flagship store carries a wider range of Moncler goods than the boutique on via Della Spiga, featuring the main collection for men and women and the special Moncler Gamme Rouge and Moncler Gamme Bleu collections.
