Rome & Juliet is a luxury Four Star hotel located in the historic centre of Rome, just a short walk from Castel Sant’Angelo, St. Peter’s Basilica, and the Vatican Museums. The structure housing hotel Rome & Juliet is a charming six floor Roman mansion and the interior of the palazzo boasts a view of one of the oldest medieval bell towers: that of the church of Saint Lucia del Gonfalone.

A large frosted glass panel indicates the entrance to the structure, allowing passers-by a view of the reception area, somewhat resembling a private home thanks to the choice of distinctive elements of furniture. This environment, completely overlooking the street, acts as a filter between the reception of the hotel, spa, and restaurant, and efficiently conceals the distinctive features of the accommodation facilities.

Large exposed brick arches in the restaurant pay homage to the history of the building and become the frames of the new, more modern units, covered with a wood panelling, giving form and rhythm to the room. Ancient and contemporary come together creating a dynamic, elegant and refined atmosphere.

On the upper floors and corridors adjacent to the vaulted ceilings, are 24 uniquely designed modern suites. The contrast between old and new, ancient and modern, returns to characterize these spaces where hand-crafted wooden furniture fit in plasterboard walls. Glass walls separate the bedrooms from the bathrooms, lending to the perception that the two areas are one continuous space. Paintings, lamps and other pieces of furniture and design by eminent designers enrich the suites whilst ensuring guests comfort and feelings of familiarity.

On the fifth floor of the building, one will find a spacious terrace: a 120 square meter roof garden where guests can enjoy moments of relaxation accompanied by drinks and music while gazing out over Rome’s painted cupolas standing out against the city’s famously pink and red sunsets.
