Netzkern office, Wuppertal – Germany

German internet agency netzkern moved into an excellent office space at the end of 2012. Located in Wuppertal, the company has received the honors of being the city’s “Company of the Year”.

Netzkern’s new office space is housed in refurbished loft, which gives them right around 700sqm. All “Kernkräfte” (as netzkern employees call themselves) are located on a shared floor, with plenty of conference, training and working rooms offer ample space for individual time to focus. Meeting rooms and casual seating areas are located nearby staff workstations for easy access.

I like to see that the office also seems to get a good amount of natural light, and uses glass walls to allow it to pass uninterrupted. But perhaps my favorite area is the cafe – with its foosball table and spectator seating.
