“Connection” is the keyword behind the design of this international freight forwarder headquarters in Hong Kong. It is about bridging the people working in the office and on the work sites in order to nurture a good sense of belonging to the company; and relating the work space to the business nature and corporate values of the company.

Upon arrival, the staffs are greeted by a reception counter resembling a real container in corporate blue colour. And a runway connects the individual working docks together. In general office, a 20 meter long semi-open container provides document storage for day to day operation. The staff cafeteria takes on the setting of a warehouse. The back-lit sky ceiling mural in the conference rooms, and the airplane windows on the walls in the waiting lounge all conjures up an impression of a company which aspires to connect the world.
