Following the launch of the Round Chrome lamp in 2011 and Round Glass lamp in 2012, the lamp manufacturer B.lux has further added to this collection of suspension lamps with Round Transparent. Designed by the Italian lighting designer Marco Bisenzi, the Round collection is characterised by its use of LED light sources in designer decorative lamps, and also represents a firm commitment to sustainability in lighting.

Like the mirrored (Round Chrome) and glass versions (Round Glass), Round Transparent exploits the main aesthetic characteristics of LED bulbs, their multiplicity, as well as their internal arrangement, to achieve a unique design. The transparent polycarbonate screen, which allows you to see the LEDs inside and the rest of the interior components, highlights the technical design of this lamp. These components are precisely the star elements in this lamp, making the transparent sphere a lightweight element that camouflages into the surrounding space.

The CREE LED bulbs used in Round Transparent are fitted with lenses that have different angles of aperture giving out direct light, and their distribution and arrangement guarantees an absence of glare. This new lamp by B.lux comes in two sizes: S1-40 measures 40 cm in diameter and S1-50 measures 50 cm. They are both fitted with a transparent cable and a dimmer switch. Round Transparent is the latest addition to the DECO collection of lamps made by B.lux, a designer lamp manufacturer trading since 1980. Located in the Basque Country, B.lux manufactures decorative, technical, and outdoor lamps, as well as custom-made lamps for architectural projects. Light source: S1-40: LED 9 x 3W 900 mA Dimmer , S1-50: LED 15 x 3W 900 mA Dimmer
