In 2010, we decided to create the Project SEA ME – Peixaria Moderna, a modern fish market, honoring the old fishmongers which disappeared from Lisbon town center. We decided to joke with the fish and seafood, bringing together the best that have all the concepts who work this products as the main raw material.

Like any self respecting seafood restaurant in Lisbon, we had to have a “Prego”, a traditional Portuguese meat sandwich. Was immediately and despite being a fish concept, one of the best selling products and complimented by the specialized press. It became evident, that we would have to develop a concept focused on this product.

We developed a house of “pregos” that recreates the environment lived in eateries and cafes in Lisbon 70´s. We intend to convey what as been the Lisbon bohemian life, where after living work, to see a football game, a trip to the theater, you end your day eating a “prego.

In this tribute, we assign of our 7 “pregos”, a name of an urban tribe, taking into account that “pregos” are transversal to all ages, statutes and tribes. We asked one of the greatest urban artists of Lisbon (Gonçalo MAR) to illustrate trough a graffiti this Portuguese way of life. The space is divided in 3 areas (the bar), a small living room with a communal table and the central area with natural light and a vertical aromatic garden.
