Savoidakis bakery – patisserie – café by Manousos Leontarakis & Associates, Greece

November 25th, 2013 by retail design blog

Savoidakis bakery – patisserie-café is a great proof that times are changing, developing differently & adding to our lifestyle, even for our most common needs. Bread, rolls, pastries and cakes, ice cream and frozen yogurt are showcased elegantly in low windows made from wood, granite nero assoluto and glass in order for the goods to be as tempting as their taste. The design in general is based on simple and minimal elements and earthy tones give purity and elegance to the space.

More specifically, walls and partitions have been “dressed” with a specially treated beige color and the floor is made of a wood lining which was chosen as the most appropriate material for the specific use and needs.

The lighting is carefully chosen, designed with T5 and LED, and there is a spacious outdoor terrace where the selected seats and tables are the fer forge’ type in black color. In the terrace you can enjoy a coffee, a drink or a dessert even with a bad weather since there is a specially designed enclosure and deflectors that frame it.
