DELVAUX window display at Galeries Lafayette by frank agterberg/bca, Paris

From 19 November till 14 December the Belgian House Delvaux dedicates a shop window of Les Galeries Lafayette in Paris to Les Humeurs de Brillant. Luxuristas from all over the world can now discover this exclusive collection of nine creations, a tribute to the illustrious Le Brillant handbag, expressing the know-how of the House and symbolizing its values while adding a surrealistic touch.

The window also does honour to Delvaux’ exclusive shop concept launched earlier this year at the Galerie de la Reine boutique in Brussels. The original sketches by the artists Martine Feipel and Jean Bechameil, who designed the concept in collaboration with the House, have been transferred onto the backwall of the window, creating the illusion of depth, an effect that is enhanced by the varying positions and heights of the box-like pedestals. Jewel in the crown is the LED-illuminated logo that pierces through the wall.
