Jaime Beriestain concept store & café, Barcelona – Spain

December 14th, 2013 by retail design blog

Renowned interior designer Jaime Beriestain opens a new concept store in the center of Barcelona. Counting on 500m2, where you can find vintage furniture, objects, fresh flowers especially brought to Jaime, a selection of international books and fragrances, etc. Everything that Jaime loves is there! Jaime gets at this space as if he were at home. With a large surface dedicated to a restaurant for 80 people, he welcomes guests as if were his friends even they sit with them to share Gin-Tonic.

A meal of traditional market is served in the restaurant with deep flavors in a familiar environment. Beside a chef, Jaime drafted the menu proposing his native Chile dishes or the meals he usually serves to their friends. 2 large Italian chandeliers from the 60’s dominate this space at once warm and homely. Furthermore, you can admire some works of art from his private collection hanging on the walls (Peter Halley, Fernando Prats, José-María Mellado …)
