Japanese interior designer Hiroki Hakamada has designed this restaurant in South Korea opened last year. The Korean restaurant owner wants to provide food as an art-piece to the customers. The cuisine is nouvelle chinois style made by top Japanese chef invited to Korea to provide the highest quality of food. The layout is broken into three areas: bench seating, semi-private and private rooms. Bench seating is for customers who want to sit comfortably. Behind the back of the seat is a wall of wire mesh with wrinkle process, the texture of the pressed wires gave a luxurious look.

The semi-private rooms are composed by random three-dimension stone walls. The wall create a surrounded space for the customer to feel the privacy they need. The keyword of the interior concept is “art-piece”. Just like the museum is showing art-piece one by one beautifully, Hakamada designed this restaurant as if the art-piece is build on top of each other and create one single art-piece. The lighting has designed to spotlight each dish that is present in front of the customer, just like a piece of artwork.
