ED-55 Made in Japan denim by Edwin Europe & Edwin Japan

March 12th, 2014 by retail design blog

For Spring / Summer 2014, Edwin Europe have collaborated with Edwin Japan to create the “ED-55 Made in Japan”, using 14oz Vintage Selvage Denim, exclusively developed by the famous Japanese denim mill, Nihon Menpu. EXCLUSIVELY AVAILABLE AT Son Of A Stag.

This very special edition ED-55 celebrates Japanese workmanship and craftsmanship, combined with the unmistakable European styling of the ED-55. This particular fabric respects the traditional methods of denim-making with no pre-shrink processing. During the wash process, the denim will shrink by an estimated 1.5 sizes, so we recommend up to eight domestic washes before this denim fits to size. Of course, in our humble opinion, the best alternative is to simply not wash them.
