The vision for the first BUBIES Lingerie Limited flagship store in Hong Kong was that of a complete sensory experience that communicated class, sophistication and genuine excitement. Synthesizing bold design aspects, thoughtful green elements and mesmerizing aesthetic details, interior designers, PplusP Designers Limited created a symphony of a feminine fairy-tale aura with the bold, sensual attraction of a Victoria’s Secret fashion show. This was in line with the company’s passionate belief in creating something daring and unconventional, yet functional and conducive to business and consumer needs.
The BUBIES Lingerie Limited flagship store revolves around three integral conceptual pillars. Since the company had defined its target market as office ladies, there was an understanding that although most dress modestly within their conservative working environments, they buy fine lingerie because they want to look and feel attractive. This shaped the central conception of the birdcage with bold, black cages juxtaposed against a gentle pink and floral setting. It is believed that ladies underwear is something serves as protection as well as to show off, like a beautiful bird being kept in a bird cage showing off its beauties.
Next came a buffet style fine dining concept of detailed and intricate dining settings. The first illustration begins from the gigantic display wall which serves as the window display; it is also an abstract illustration of a large menu that contains appetizers, main courses and desserts. As a coherent of the menu display wall, the products are being displayed in fine porcelain glass tableware and tantalizing cupcakes, implying their lingerie products are as fine as or as detail as the delicious premium desserts.
