POP-UP STORES! WOOD WOOD pop-up store, Seoul – South Korea

April 11th, 2014 by retail design blog

To celebrate its first anniversary, the BEAKER store in Seoul has invited WOOD WOOD to open a pop-up store on the premises. Opening today, the setting of temporary retail space is one that’s inspired by the brand’s A/W 2013 collection with Rohrschach prints. These are depicted on the wall, while a number of specially constructed timber crates showcase pieces from this collection. WOOD WOOD and BEAKER have also created a limited edition sweatshirt fusing both brands’ aesthetics, and the item will be sold exclusively at the pop-up store.

Tonight’s opening party will be a fun event, attended by WOOD WOOD’s creative director Karl-Oskar Olsen while invitees will be showered with danish bites and drinks. Beats are supplied by rapper Beenzino and dj Plastic Kid, and to boost the fun even further there’ll also be a so-called beer pong game by Seoul Pingpong Pub and take out barbershop’s impeccable grooming service will have you look sharp in a jiffy.
