Seattle Cider Company branding by DEI Creative

Seattle Cider Company is Seattle’s first cidery to hit the scene since the prohibition. And we were honored to be a part of the project from the start, developing the Seattle Cider visual brand, packaging (tall boy cans and 22oz bottles), tap handles, and website.

As part of the branding process we explored a wide array of logo and can/bottle design options for the Seattle Cider team to consider— some more illustrative and others more streamlined. In close collaboration with the Seattle Cider team we landed on a look that was both bold and modern— a look that we felt would resonate well with the urban/Seattle audience, men especially. It was important to communicate that Seattle Cider is ‘not your average cider’— it’s dry, complex, and like we like to say: cider for beer drinkers.

We also designed and developed a befitting website for Seattle Cider Company. The custom WordPress website features a unique vertical scrolling experience, an illustration of the cider making process, responsive layouts, and a map of where you enjoy or buy the cider.
