Al Hilal S.FC is the largest football club in the middle east, with over 5 million supporters. Redesign group from New Zealand were appointed to create a flagship store worthy of such a huge club. The store caters to a wide range of customers, selling a wide range of products including a full range of men’s, woman’s and children’s apparel, sporting goods, accessories, merchandise and team kit.

Because of the wide range of products and large floor area, the layout has been divided into a series a smaller spaces, defined by changes in flooring and ceiling heights. These space surround a central point of sale area and t-shirt printing station. At the rear of the store is an area dedicated to the clubs long history. LCD TVs, touch screens and large format graphics provide customers with an interactive experience to enhance their visit to the store.

Various cultural and stylistic challenges presented themselves over the course of the project, but these were overcome to provide our client with a landmark store in the center of Riyadh. Since the design of the flagship store Redesign group have now been commissioned to roll out the concept through the rest of Saudi.
