@Panache Café originally occupied the space for many years as a self-serve sandwich bar. They wanted to modify the entire hospitality concept to become a more service oriented café that would be open for breakfast and lunch. Mink Studio Design was engaged to refurbish the interiors to suit a new raw food offer. The Green Label Co joined forces with @Panache café and together they service a large segment of the health conscious ‘foodie’ city consumer.

The brief was to create an organic environment for people to retreat from the hustle and bustle of the corporate streets. The interior needed to feel bright and inviting, to offer zones for work and meetings. A comfortable area with soft textured seating was also included.

A natural palette of ply and timber was chosen, with contrasting slate & white, offering a crisp, organic atmosphere to match the raw food offering. Suspended ceiling screens form a back drop for an array of replica Tom Dixon “Beat” pendant lights hanging through the screens. An avant-garde wall paper mural compliments the surrounds of the cafe. Bespoke Banquettes and ottomans coupled with Baresque Light Blocks table tops were included for meetings or informal gatherings.
