Layers lighting by Vanessa Vivian for Axo Light

May 13th, 2014 by retail design blog

Layers is a collection of geometric lighting from Axo Light that’s part of their Lightecture line. Designed by Vanessa Vivian, the ceiling lights are built with metal frames that are covered with layered strips of flame-retardant pongé fabric that comes in ten colors: dark grey, light grey, orange, green, golden yellow, red, burgundy red, white, warm white, brick, and two multi-colored variants.

The light is diffused through the colored bands and also peeks out through the spaces between the bands. The fixtures are the perfect fit for large spaces. Available in either halogen or fluorescent versions.
