Cocolobo shop by NMASUNO Studio, Monterrey – Mexico

May 30th, 2014 by retail design blog

Located in Monterrey, in northern Mexico, and stocked with first-rate imports from the world’s premier cities, Cocolobo caters to the fancy of the wealthy, offering goodies you won’t find anywhere else in town. Conceptually inspired by New York City — tough, industrial, and yet oh so glamorous — for this project we wanted to transfer that play of contrasts so unique to NY into the look and the atmosphere of the store itself.

We created a modern, cozy space where glittering candelabra can go side by side with worn brick walls; a lush canvas of wood, velvet, and furniture, all carefully selected and arranged for the exhibition of the true protagonists: the clothes.
