Casale del Principe spa and wellness center by Alberto Apostoli Architecture, Monreale – Italy

A space for the senses, the body and the mind, where every moment is a precious ritual. The spa area dell’Agrirelais, opened in January 2014, is dedicated to the well-being and total relaxation of its guests. Of modern and refined design but that does not omit reference to the elements of Sicilian culture, the Spa is characterized by its relationship with the extraordinary architectural complex in which it is inserted, the nature, its flora so rich and unique, and its territory.

The concept shuns the creation of artificial spaces and is characterized by a ‘particularly strong identity for a creative synthesis and multifaceted culture and “ability to build” Sicilian. The friut of this relationship is the creation of a space alive and sensorial, in which every constructive detail has been designed and built to make the most of the materials and construction techniques authentic to this Sicilian region and to emphasize the particular location.

The Spa is spread over different levels and integrates with an area dedicated to the seven suites, dedicated to descriptive themes of territorial values. On the ground floor there is the element of the center’s main attraction: a treatment cabin within a special “cocoon” of steel and hand-woven rattan, which floats on a pool of water that defines the main shilouettes and contributes to the creation of spaces. This particular “place” has been designed to provide guests with massages and treatments using essences and local products of Sicily, in a very unusual and maternal environment.

On the same level, the guests benefit from a large relaxation area with tea corner, a hammam in a charming grotto, sauna and emotional showers with chromotherapy. Thanks to the innovative design of the architect Alberto Apostoli, the pool dell’Agrirelais becomes the most evocative symbol of the SPA, as well as a catalyst in the perspective of the visitor who, coming from an impressive staircase in steel and wood – behind a massive stone wall is captured by its colors and its reflections.

Has several hydromassage options, 2 beds with air jets and a waterfall jet for cervical massage. A corner for Herbal teas and chaise-longue with chromotherapy.Through beautiful evocative trails , evolves a central concept of relaxation and harmony that puts the psycho-physical wellbeing of the guests at the center of the treatments and programs, all personalized and signed by the Italian brand [comfort zone], in the best spas in the world.
