Sally Beauty store by Droguett A&A, Lima – Peru

June 6th, 2014 by retail design blog

Sally Beauty is one of the world’s largest international specialty retailer and distributor of professional beauty supplies. This year Sally Beauty opened it´s first South American store in Mall Plaza Norte, Lima – Perú. This image was designed by Droguett A&A architects in Chile, searching for a new project that incorporate emotional attributes in addition to the functional ones that the brand that already has. These attributes were incorporated in an aggregated way to the original brand personality in the design of this store.

The store is an invitation to get out of the women´s daily routine, always feeling special. It is proposed to incorporate the architecture store, architectural elements linked to the modeling world and professional photography. An open ceiling painted dark gray with a hanging stereo-metric for spot lights, gives a kind of photographic studio atmosphere to the store.

This “lofty” style of the store is contrasted with a more femenine and cozy atmosphere given by the interior use of dark natural timber and a pink color in fixtures. Colorful graphics inside the store and in facade, talk about the variety of products in a casual way.
