A new vegan restaurant proposal by Helen Unsin in collaboration with UniversalProjekt located in the multi-culti and cosmopolitan city of Hamburg in northern Germany. To complete their visionary team and develop the original concept, Unsinn and UniversalProjekt collaborated in the creation of a space which blends organic elements together with the cosmopolitan environment and feeling of the port city of Hamburg.

The assorted choice of furniture, surfaces, lighting and decoration are synonym of a casual environment filled with intriguing and unusual finds which is intended to attract the curiosity of a consumer looking for a new and alternative style of dinning. A striking oversized column with exposed bricks brings warmth to the venue while at the same time providing an element of industrialized design which is characteristic of the city of Hamburg. The column provides a visual barrier which breaks the space into different dinning alternatives. Customers can decide whether to sit for a fast lunch-on-the-go, lounge in a comfortable arm chairs with a cup of coffee or have a family style get-together with friends.

Pops of pastel colors together with light wood tones contrast the roughness of exposed pipes and bricks, cement floors and angular black counters. Curtains and upholstered chairs in rich fabrics in warm grey hues counteract the roughness of coffee tables made out of repurposed raw wood pallets creating a relaxed and cozy yet sophisticated environment. Simplistic and industrial inspired lighting fixtures serve the purpose of contemporary decoration which reinforced the eclectic, alternative and modern ambiance of the restaurant.
