Over the bank holiday we installed these new windows at Adidas Originals flagship in Berlin to mark the launch of their new premium apparel and footwear collection ‘Adidas Blue’. The versatility and functionality of materials is so prominent within the collection, so we designed the window with exactly that in mind. All elements come from just 7 sheets of strand board, cut up and deconstructed before being consciously arranged into a graphic composition – some cut outs receiving a printed pattern lifted directly from the product and highlighted with soft white lights, while the remaining were coated in matt black paint, creating a subtle textured surface to show off photographs from the lookbook.
