Terrone & Co identity and packaging design by Apple & Pear

June 10th, 2014 by retail design blog

Identity & Packaging design for Terrone, the only Third Wave – speciality coffee – Italian coffee roaster & shop in London. The beans are all hand-roasted in small batches in Italy, with a 1950′s “Vittoria” roaster, that makes its coffee quite special.

Apple & Pear designed and letterpress printed Terrone Identity, including business card, menu and packaging tag for the stand up coffee pouches. Apple & Pear focused on the fascinating handmade nature of the coffee roasting process, trying to develop an Identity that reflected that nature also in the handmade creation of the finished materials. Detailed use of typography, black ink on fine white recycled paper to communicate a strong personality.
