This bar, GEEK located on a quiet street, but still just one block away from a busy boulevard. The concept of GEEK is relaxing atmosphere for quality time. We’ ve specified materials to make good use of these materials. What the materials are Mortar with Sumi, Wood-wool cement board, Concrete Block, Wooden plywood, Steel Window Flame, Brass light and hardware.

This facade is constructed rectilinearly, though the plasterer left some strokes when he mortared the wall instead of mortaring evenly. This technique and using mortar with sumi could effect relaxing atmosphere. Moreover, the wall of facade is connecting to inside’s wall and bench.

It’ s used the same materials so customers could feel the same relaxing atmosphere inside too, of course. For the entrance, we used steel sash and an antique brass door knob. Even though finishing materials and decoration we have used were limited, these limitations effect the space abundance and the style of bar is not affected by trends.
